“Style” over substance…. Stay elsewhere as this place really isn’t worth the money. Everything about our stay here was disappointing, from our first interaction with reception to checking out. Staff were, sadly, rude and dismissive on arrival. The room itself was cavernous and in need of a proper clean. No coffee maker, outrageously priced drinks in a very noisy fridge. The bathroom was dirty, with a film of grease across the floor. Threadbare towels. It needed maintenance work. The pool area was nice enough but staff left dirty towels and glasses strewn about and were busy talking to one another. Hard pressed staff in the bar abrupt. On check out, we were told there was a charge of $5/bag to store our luggage before our flight but this was “waived”. This wasn’t a relaxing or pleasant time for us, the hotel is expensive and doesn’t represent value for money. We wouldn’t stay again.

This hotel tries too hard to be “hip”. They are so worried about the aesthetics that customer service is overlooked. Struggled to get my suitcases in the door with bellman standing feet away. The rooms are so dark you can’t see. The room is not set up in a convenient way- you walk circles around the bed. No chairs. Have to have a reservation to sit at the pool. I’ve been to New Orleans 30-40 times staying different places- this is one of the worst.

We enjoyed our stay at ACE. It was great to be so close to town. We could walk to the trolley. The staff was wonderful, andthey were happy to store our bags on our last day so we wouldn't miss a second of our play time.

We had a great stay! The only thing to improve is coffee available in the room. There was a coffee shop downstairs, but I like coffee in my room.

My bathroom must have been abandoned mid clean. Toilet tank cover was not on the toilet, dirty towels in corner, lemons and limes in the garbage, glass cups drying on a hand towel, floor sticky, shower wouldn’t drain. I would have switched but got in late and had unpacked before I realized. Check in woman very professional and kind though.

A very nice hotel with a good restaurant, great people working here as well. Wish the rooms were a bit more comfortable - need to add better lighting, rug on the floor and a long desk or counter to put things on.

This hotel was excellent! There were multiple dining options and most of the food was very good. The breakfast options at Lovage could be a little better but the coffee was very good. The decor is gorgeous in the hotel. All of the staff (from restaurants, bars, door, front desk, etc) were super nice. The location worked well and was a short Uber trip to the FQ. It’s walkable to multiple restaurants in the area and the WWII museum. The bed was pretty firm which wasn’t my preference but some people do like. Be aware there is a nightly valet charge of $50 and also a daily resort fee of $25. Those charges are separate from the fees paid on Expedia. We’d definitely stay here again.

I was told by hotel reception that the taxi fare for 2 people from hotel to airport was $36. But the taxi driver who drove us to to the airport on Mar 30 insisted that the fee should be $45. I had no way to verify that and paid the fare as $45 (plus tips). The hotel has to correct the information if the driver is right.

This place is good, not great. Nice lobby and rooftop pool, but odd rooms (no rugs, big fridge but no coffee), and the restaurant staff act like they’re doing you a favor to take your order, especially the rooftop. It was a good deal and walkable to the French quarter, but overall there are better options.

The trend of charging $50 to check in to an empty hotel a few hours early is really disappointing. Customers make a reservation, paying a lot of money, and then get shook down for another $50 when they arrive. Just a really poor state of customer service and that alone will make me not return to this hotel. Making your paying customers feel taken for granted and advantage of is a baffling management decision. Room was fine, AC barely worked though and it was too warm in the room even though it was only in the low 60s outside.

Great place to stay, the hotel is so beautiful, the staff are really nice and helpful. Overall great location. The restaurant downstairs was great for drinks. Things we didn’t like as much were that there were 4 of us staying in the room and there weren’t enough outlets. A ton of outlets that were blocked and couldn’t be used. We also didn’t think the beds were that comfortable.

Service was great. Area was fine for shopping and food: there were a mix of nice spots to eat and shop at and spots that are abandoned. The area is good to walk in. Parking is valet unless you do it yourself and the parking in the area is not cheap at 50 bucks a day. No microwave. Almost daily evening events when I was there. I didn't use room service. The coffee shop attached to it is decent and looks cute. Did not try the restaurants.

Happy with our stay at ACE NOLA. The warehouse district is a safe and upscale area to stay, with great dining options. The hotel lobby bar and Josephine Estelle restaurant are good options. However, would have been great if the rooms were furnished better. So large spaces with no place to put suitcases, hot water did not work for a whole day. Barring that, it’s a great stay.
