"The hotel's location is probably one of the best in whole Rostock. The view of the city is excellent. It's also in a walkable distance of the eastern part of the city (for example Petrikirche). The rooms looked nice and clean. The service at the reception was friendly and very helpful. What I did not like were the rather uncomfortable beds. "Easy access via Bus 25 from Hbf, up 3 stops to Schroederplatz, and then Motel One is right there and also very close to the Kropeliner Tor and the main shopping district and old town. Although my room directly faced towards the Christmas markets and the children’s rides across the street, I barely heard the noise from my room. Breakfast buffet was fairly standard, no complaints. I do wish there was a coffee/tea maker in my room; however. Overall, good value and location."
