"Best hotel I’ve stayed in in the UK. Everything was perfect, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotless and attention to details were lovely even a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge for hot drinks, lovely touch. The food was outstanding quality. The bed was huge, the toiletries were plentiful and the housekeeping was perfect. Although the hotel was very posh and of high standard we didn’t find you had to dress up if you didn’t want to. The spa treatments were of high standard, my husband and I both h had massages with Alisia and I can say it was the best massage we have both ever had. Would definitely be returning. Our only disappointment was to find the spa pool, steam room and jacuzzi had closed last year. Thank you for such a superb stay just wish we could have stayed longer."

"We just had one night stay wishing to relax and decompress. It was perfect. Quiet, the room was lovely and warm (easy to adjust temperature to our own preference), our own hot tub to relax in, fabulous breakfast. Shower lovely and powerful, plenty of towels. Such a lovely stay. Thank you "

"This is a quaint place to stay. Full of history and alleged ghosts but we did not meet any! The staff are fab and we ate our evening meal there which was delicious. The room was fab."
