Nie place to stop

I really like this stop just as I am not interested in staying in Koblenz it is a good distance outside of town. It has a very nice Irish pub.

Good value hotel

The Hotel is conveniently close to the station but only a short walk to the centre. Whilst near a road and the train tracks the room was reasonably well sound proofed when the windows were closed and they didn't disturb me. That might be an issue in hot weather as it doesn't have air conditioning. The breakfast was fine with a reasonable selection. Overall the hotel was good value considering the budget cost. The room whilst relatively basic was comfortable and including a fridge was a very nice touch.

Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral und optimal. Mein Zimmer war ruhig und sauber. Die Dusche sah recht neu aus. Das Einchecken lief unproblematisch; netter Service. Was allerdings gar nicht geht war die Matratze. Völlig durchgelegen, was für mich zu empfindlichen Rückenschmerzen führte und immer noch andauernd. Investiert bitte in neue und rückenfreundliche Matratzen! Für alle Menschen mit Rückenproblemen ein absolutes No-Go.

Zustand nicht mehr ganz taufrisch, aber noch akzeptabel, und für den bezahlten Preis (55 €/Nacht) auch in Ordnung. Positiv: Bett (im Einzelzimmer) breit und bequem, Wasserkocher und Sortiment von Tee und lösl. Kaffee, Kühlschrank Negativ: Der Mini-Kühlschrank ist so unter dem Tisch platziert, dass man dort nicht mehr sitzen und arbeiten kann. Ganz dickes Minus: Am Tag des Champions-League-Endspiels ist das ZDF nicht in der Senderliste enthalten (dafür zig Verkaufssender etc.)! Wer dachte, er könnte das Finale im Hotelzimmer schauen, war aufs private Endgerät angewiesen. Immerhin: Das WLAN hat funktioniert. Bei offenem Fenster ist es relativ laut (Straßenverkehr teilweise auf Kopfsteinpflaster, Bahnlinie mit Güterzugverkehr), aber Fenster mit guter Schallisolierung.

Zentrumsnah und per Bahn super zu erreichen, sehr freundliches Personal, unkompliziert und professionell. Besonders klasse für uns als Gruppe war das Lokal im EG, wo wir nach dem Seminar noch zusammen saßen..

Die Zimmer wären noch gemütlicher wenn man etwas mehr liebe ins Detail steckt. Etwas zu "kühl" die Atmosphäre. Ausrangierte Betten sollten nicht unbedingt im Flur stehen. Abgedunkelte Fenster im Hausflur mit Planen Sehr freundliches Personal!!

Warm and friendly

We loved the location and the convenience. It has a nice small town feel. The attached restaurant was a huge bonus. The owner/manager was quite welcoming and helpful.
