"Overall this is a good hotel. A major drawback was the pool - hot tub area, which was overrun with kids who were not attended by parents. Basically an entire pool's worth of kids were in the hot tub."

"The property was very clean and welcoming. When we checked in, the clerk was on his phone which I didn't mind that. My discomfort came from the fact I could see it was on speaker phone once I got to the desk. So as I'm giving my personal information, the person on the other end would have been hearing all that. Since it was booked and prepaid, it was just my phone number and email. Not too sensitive but still left me a bit uncomfortable. The room was very clean and roomy. Only one issue that I fully recognize is only issue for a small portion of people. When we walked in, we noticed a fresh laundry smell. We didn't think much of it. However, when we went to lay down later that night, on my side of the bed the smell got more intense. Which was weird. The problem with this is I both have asthma and an allergy to chemical fragrances. I can deal with them in small passing doses but concentrated amounts causes reactions and activates my asthma. After a while of it becoming harder to breathe, we looked around for an air freshener. We found a plug-in air freshener behind the nightstand on my side set at max. Once we unplugged it and some time passed (and use of my inhaler), I was able to breathe again. I understand spraying some air freshener after you clean a room but I also feel a hotel's cleanliness should speak for itself and they should need a plug in air freshener for the room. Overall, the hotel was very nice but I wanted that warning out there for others who are sensitive."

"The room was not clean. Very dirty floor. Looked like it had not been swept or mopped in a long time. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was not much to write home about."

"Our stay was great, the facility was clean and well kept, but my only complaint was the night staff. We arrived March 28th, and the young man that was working the night shift wouldn’t speak. He would just do a hand gesture to communicate. The first room he gave us seemed to be locked from the inside, possibly occupied, and when we came back to exchange the room, he didn’t apologize and just handed us another key, other than that our stay was great."

"The hot tub was not hot enough and another guest had to go to the front desk to ask for towels. A young child had to go and clean up the towels that were left after a party as other guests didn’t clean up after themselves as for breakfast in the morning I went at 7:15. There were no scrambled eggs only two cinnamon rolls, no sausage gravy and only one type of milk. The breakfast area started at seven. It was not crowded when I got there and I even mentioned this lack of stocking to the front desk person when we checked into the room it was supposed to be two double queens, and it was a king room. I went to the front desk and asked for this to be corrected and was told they were sold out of doubles they offered to move us to an upgraded King suite that would have a pullout couch. However, the only one they had available was a loft type, which meant someone was going to have to climb stairs. My sister just had a total knee replacement and can’t do stairs yet I have back issues and the stairs are not in my best interest either nor is a pullout couch. There was no discount offered because we went through Expedia. Also, our room was not the cleanest. The vacuum in of the room seem to be in a rush, as there is a lot of small particle items throughout the area. The end tables were dusty, and the bathroom mirror was filmy. After using the restroom during the night, we discovered that the bathroom faucet leaks and drips. I had to get up and mess with the handle to fix. Will not recomm"

"It is right off a major highway and the room we had was on the side of the highway and does not have black out curtains, or any curtains at all for that matter. We had to ask for another blanket to hang on the windows to try and block light/sound. The walls are also paper thin, we could hear our neighbors up, down and to the side. No staff on site after 10pm and at 10pm we had someone literally jumping off their bed above us for 20 minutes and when trying to call the after hours number, it doesn’t forward anywhere so had to call the other WoodSpring and they got ahold of someone to address it. If you are literally just there to sleep, and don’t mind noise or lights, it’s okay for the price. I felt like a hostel would have been a better choice. "
