This hotel is not what it appears to be. There was rust on everything but the bathroom sink. The shower head wasn’t clean enough to feel the full stream of water. The toilet clogged the first hour we were there and of course the front office was closed at 8pm , so there was no help there. Honestly that took the cake. I will not be staying there again.

What an incredibly good value. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, property beautiful and the beach - wow! All staff were so friendly and helpful. Lifeguards were wonderful and kept the beach vendors at bay. Fast recovery post hurricane and property is in a perfect location!

Excellent staff always helpful and pleasant. No safes in the room. Screen in bathroom window broken. cracks large enough in door frames that the light comes through. Very small fridge. Cleaning only every second day with one small garbage. Bring your own beach towel. Very little sun cover areas on the beach so need to go very early to get a spot. On departure at the airport I received a phone call that we could not have two single beds. I felt this was very disturbing. Upon arrival the staff moved a single bed with a queen bed in the room. Had to move the bed each time to walk around it. Found out from other clients they had booked the following day and had two beds. I cannot recommend at all. Beautiful beach but being disturbed every 20 minutes by people selling foods, weed, brads, massages, juice, tours, etc. Was supposed to be private beach. Food is super expensive and everything is in American prices. Would of been better to go with an all inclusive. The area around the motel for walking on the road is full of garbage and again the markets very very pricey. $3 USD for one apple. Walking on the road is annoying as every 3 minutes someone is bothering us for taxi, or selling weed. Walked along the beach was worse. First and last time to visit Jamaica. Why so much garbage and people sitting around doing nothing. Pick up the garbage at least. Very disappointing but beautiful beach.

The best part are the employees and great location on the beach. Prices been recently raised and with that the amenities should reflect American prices. Example, my room did not have a toilet paper holder, the plastic on my balcony chairs were peeling off and sticking to my clothes. Further, with the increase they should add a coffee maker in rooms and a hair dryer. They don’t have TV but that is fine by us. Not in room much. The bathrooms next to bar and dining need fixing. Paper towels would stop spread of germs vs hand blower. Therefore some basic amenities should reflect the increase to enhance the experience. They provide beach towels and usual not ready till late morning. At our time of stay which was busy they did not have enough beach chairs. The bar staff, beach staff, grounds and security staff are outstanding to guest! A couple of these small changes that I provided as feedback to the front desk during checkout would make a world of difference.

This place is gorgeous and the staff is top notch. LIke coming home to family every time.. The beach, the great food at the restaurant - the pool in the back. Comfortable clean rooms with great balconies. Been coming back for 30 years.

Second time staying at this property, and absolutely love it. The staff is so warm and welcoming, they treat you like family. The beach though is the most stunning and beautiful part of it all. Food was great, rooms are clean. Overall no complaints and I will definitely go back.

I will never stay here again or recommend. The listing did not state it was split .. the pics are not accurate of the property. They are outdated .. it listed it as a beachside hotel . I upgraded to the beachside after getting there and saw how far and the busy rd i had to cross to get to the beach . I was over charged my upgrade by double .. didnt get my money back even after talking with the manager for the clerk overcharging me over 200$ canadian that i paid in cash and when leaving the receipt stated 70$ .. the junior suite i uograded too had no broom or anything to clean up the kitchenette. The toilet wouldnt fully flush .. sink drain was broken . I paid over 500$ Canadian for 2 nights .. after being overcharged for my upgrade .. poor service .. poor management and didnt get my money back for the over payment .. i left frustrated and upset

This is my third time at white sands,however, had to buy beach towel as the property does not offer this basic amenity. On previous visits, towel was included at no cost. Disappointed! Nonetheless, had a good time and felt safe.

Highly recommended

The service is excellent, beach is stunning and very chilled out. The hotel restaurant food is some of the best we’ve had on the island and very well priced. If you’re looking for a quiet secluded holiday this is a great one.
