Nice stay at Nature Villa

We had an amazing stay at Nature Villa Resort in Negombo. We Stayed there for 3 days, and were very satisfied with the service from the owner Mr. Sasha and his wife. We will definately recommend it to others, and book it if we comes back one day. Best Regards Pernille & kan

The hosts made you feel this was your home and they are now my friends ,,they are such fun znd extremely efficient and helpful. I will definitly return and highly recommend. Lovely gRden area and easy 5 minute walk down to the noisy beach road.

Staff very friendly and helpful, and I was able to spend the day there whilst filling time between end of a tour and flight home. The general area between villa, canal and beach was dirty but there is nothing the villa can do about that.

Not my best choice but may suit others well

Overall this villa is fine for an overnight stay, but it isn’t suited particularly well to my taste and needs. I think I allowed myself to have false expectations when I read extremely positive reviews on other web sites. I guess everything is relative. If you are young and low budget it may suit you. There’s a pleasant pool and the rooms and complex are clean. The brutalist style concrete rooms, however, are not appealing to me. They feel dingy. The bed is wide, but short and consists of a cheap mattress on a concrete slab. It’s not likely to air well with hot, sweaty bodies in a humid environment. There’s a top sheet, but no light blanket to help couples who sleep at different temperatures. The rooms are basic with no cabinets or hanging hooks. Everything goes on the floor or a small, low concrete ledge. There is a steep set of steps that are a bit short for mid-size feet to get to the rooms. Breakfast was ok. Location is quiet. About a 10 minute walk through back lanes to the main street and beach. I can see why some people really like this place, but if you are a bit older you may not have the same enthusiasm.

Relax after long flight

We stayed here for one night only , to catch up after our long flight from London. It was very cheap airport taxi transfer for family of 4 (we didn’t arrange it, just picked up taxi in the airport lobby). In fact we arranged 10days private driver from airport on arrival. Hotel was nice and has a lovely pool to chill, exactly what we needed after long flight. The seaside is not great and not sure about much to do in Negambo, but if you need just a good night sleep and relax few hour in the pool - is the place for you.

Very basic hotel

This hotel is very basic. They only provide one pillow and no blankets. The AC worked well. It was a concrete room with hardly any natural light. Breakfast was the worst we had in Sri Lanka. It’s extremely basic.

Nous avons séjourné avec nos deux enfants a l hotel nature villa apres notre atterrissage. L accueil y est familiale et chaleureux. Une atmosphère paisible parfaite pour ce remettre du decallage horaire. Ici on aime les français et ca se ressent. Je recommande vivement ce petit parado ou le personnel et les propriétaires sont au petit soin. Un grand merci a eux!!

De hotelkamer was erg klein en donker, het gaf een benauwd gevoel. Het hotel ziet er groter uit dan op de foto’s. Kamerdeur ging op slot met een hangslot vanuit de buitenkant.
