They did not pick us from airport up as arranged. When we arrived by taxi at 11pm the place was closed up. They did not answer phone. I was travelling with children and we were left with nowhere to sleep. In a sleazy alley. Nice welcome to Sri Lanka. This place is a scam.

vi fik fremvist og blev indlogeret på nogle kedelige og meget mørke værelser som bestemt ikke stemte overens med de billeder vi havde booket efter.
det viste sig at billederne var fra et andet hotel som ligger lige foran. vi fik 2 nye værelser som stemte med det vi havde booket. et virvar af mennesker hvor ingen vidste hvad hvem lavede.

As an economy hotel you get what you pay for, Cinnamon Villa and sister hotel Kings Bay, which is part of the complex, was more than adequate. Improving the bathrooms shower facilities however would have made it very good

The hotel had a nice garden and a good locstion. The staff was helpful and nice. The poolarea was not that nice. It was not clean or taken good care of. The pool is not located in the hotels closest garden. We had to walk thru a garage to get there. There was no service of any kind by the pool. There were men working in the garden, they were painting furnitures. That made some noise and distractions.
