"It was fun staying at this beautiful house with its wonderful views of the Aeolian islands from the various porches. The proprietors were great hosts. If you want to get in your exercise, you can climb the steep mountain road in back of the house and while you're at it, get a chorus of dogs barking along the way. The restaurant within walking distance around the corner was pretty good."

"Stayed at B. & B Il Castellino in March 2025, after seeing a positive review. Sadly, our stay was not good at all, and we were happy to leave. The biggest problem was very poor communication from management about the true status of services. We arrived by train, and there was no taxi or bus service.
