We loved the location of this hotel, and its walkability and proximity to all the local attractions and beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast was tasty. The only negative is the fact that the bed was a double mattress and felt very small.

This is a great place to stay for an introduction to Nazare. Lots of dining options and cocktail bars in walking distance. It is also a short walk to the funicular that takes you to the top of the cliffs to see the church and lighthouse.

The staff were amazing. The location was perfect, off the bustle of the beach, but so close to walk to it. Lots of good food nearby, and a great breakfast at the hotel every morning. Will stay here again.

Lovely little room with a cute balcony with a partial ocean view. Stayed on a Saturday night and the nightclub next door was very loud until about 3 am. Too loud to sleep. Sur condition g in the room did not work.

Great location just off the square. Lots of restaurants nearby and quite close to the funicular. Heard a little noise through the walls but not too bad.

Nice place. Simple but modern clean rooms. Right near beach. Parking not easy you have to walk about half mile uphill to park. But it’s a private garage and good exercise. Staff very helpful.

In Nazare for just the weekend. The Hotel Mare was in a convenient central location, clean and new feeling and the staff was helpful and courteous.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Nazare with an excellent location next to the beautiful central town square and a one minute walk from the beach. Our favourite part was the amazing breakfast room on the top floor with glass walls giving you a nearly 360 degree view of the town and ocean below and the cliffs to the one side. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.
