"The hostal is very comfortable & clean. We were welcomed by the gentlemen who staffs the hostal, he was very helpful & made us feel very welcome. The beds are very comfortable. We had a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains. I would recommend the hostal, we hope to make a return visit in the future."

"After we booked, and paid for, a room the hotel sent us a message saying (in Spanish - which I was able to translate because of a basic knowledge of the language) that the hotel was closed because of water inundation. They followed up with a shorter message simply saying that the hotel was closed. So, we had to find another hotel at short notice. The hotel should not have been listed as available."

Sin embargo, el bar restaurante con terracita no lo vimos abierto en ningún momento, parecía estar abandonado. Al estar ubicado en pleno centro, se oía jaleo por las calles hasta altas horas. "We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too.
