「The hotel had been somewhat updated recently. Our room had a damp/unfresh smell but as we ran the a/c longer it improved. Very good breakfast selection. Clean pool area. Felt safe in the area. Easy access to highway and we were able to walk to Walmart to get a phone charger. Overall good for a reasonable price.」

They spoke Spanish to each other about how much food were on people's plates and saying rude things. I travel often and never had I ever experienced this. 「We have stayed in other hotels in Hays in the past and we were ready to try something different. We are very happy with our recent day at this hotel. The building was clean and modern with lots of natural light and pleasing colors. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was also a great size. The elevator worked quickly and the breakfast was quite nice. The next time we have a stay over in Hays, we will return.」

「The house was in a good location. Only street parking is available, but it was convenient and there was always space. The house is definitely “antique”, but everything worked; water flowed, toilet flushed, lights came on, etc. Wood floors squeeked throughout the house. Hosts are available via text only and were not always responsive. Even though breakfast is included, it was nothing to write home about. You are probably better off going somewhere else for food.
