Hotel San Pio
10/10 Excellent
"The room was spotless! The receptionist took his time to provide more information on local bus transportation to Monte Sant’Angelo. The hotel is a stone’s throw away from Padre Pio sanctuary. They offer free breakfast with decent options. "
"No one ever showed up. We banged on the door and windows. We called the number and no response. We finally just parked in their lot and slept in our car."
"The staff were very accomodating. We were given an upgrade to larger room when our initial room was too small for our family. Was very impressed with their service, location was great and compliments to Biagio in the restaurant. We arrived to breakfast just as they were finishing up, but they were so accomodating and welcomed us all the same. Going the extra mile. Very happy with the service, will definitely be back again. Thank you. "
"The place is awful. It is NOTHING like the listing indicates! The room needed repairs & had nothing but a horrible old bed to sit on. It was cold, dark & depressing. There were dogs running all around the place & mating right in front of the room! Chickens, ducks & roosters crowing frim 3am on! NO free breakfast. No one soeaks English! The food in the restaurant is disgusting! In the middle if nowhere with nothing in walking distance & no public transportation. Like being on a farm with a bunch of Italian hillbillies!! Worst stay ever!!!!!!"
"Very gorgeous & upscale hotel. All marble floors, chandeliers & an EXCELLENT location to the church. Very friendly service. There wouldn’t be another hotel that could beat this. The woodwork at the check in was so ornate & stunning. I even bought an oil painting on canvas of Padre Pio from a famous artist that were for sale in the lobby. "
"Excellent location, the room is large and very clean, staff is responsive and efficiency. The free breakfast is more than perfect. Overall, it is worth for every penny you spent there.
We will return there if we visit St. Micheal sanctuary in the future"
