The room was nice, but there are no room darkening shades in the living room, so very bright for anyone sleeping on the pullout sofa.
With the exception of Jordan the staff was extremely cold & rude. Marquis(?) barely made eye contact when I walked in with my 9yo to see if our room was available for early check in. His only response was “probably not”. No attempt to even check or pretend to check. I then asked about parking and without looking up said “read the signs of the parking garage”. I stood there dumbfounded as two other families waiting watched with jaws dropped. Absolutely unacceptable with the rates that are charged. When attempting to enter the parking garage 2 hrs later at check in we were unable to get the door to open until a passerby (hotel guest) swiped us in with his card.
Not one of the 3 front desk employees we spoke to regarding parking throughout our stay could assist with how to repurchase parking for an extended period. The app requires you to wait until your current day expires & then you have to purchase an additional day. We have traveled the world over multiple times & have never experienced such a disastrous system.
Our package we booked included a $27 credit for one night parking. No one was able to assist us in how we receive that credit. One associate advised “it’s a real pain & we’re trying to stop that deal”. No further explanation provided.
We would like our $27 credited back to us as was stated in our initial reservation.
