「The location was perfect for exploring and relaxing in old Bhaktapur. Hot showers were reliable. Price was very good. 」

「Intermittent power and water for three days. They had generators, but would only run them for a few hours at night. Was very hot and buggy. This hotel is actually being shut down and they are opening up a fancy waterfront hotel next door. On the bright side, our free breakfast was at their other hotel, and the wait staff and food were awesome.」

「First time in Kathmandu, picked this for it's fabulous location in a vibrant artsy neighborhood near Patan Darbur Square as a friend was staying nearby. I am so very happy I picked this place. 「Avalon House ligger lige udenfor Thamel, så man har alle turisternes nødvendigheder indenfor kort afstand (restauranter og caféer, udelivs-forretninger, souvenir butikker mm.). Avalon House har en meget venlig og service-minded ejer, som gør at man føler sig meget velkommen på stedet.Prisen er rimelig og hotellet er helt klart et sted jeg vil bo igen. 」

「Stayed for 2 days and it was unmatched. Service was outstanding. The BNB itself was outstanding. Free breakfast served fresh. I will be back next time I am in Kathmandu. Absolutely lovely owner and staff. Highly recommend you stay here. A little tough to find but it is down that dead end Street. Paid 600nr for a taxi from the airport. Not more than that.」
