The mind bogglingly slow check-in for the person in front of me took 15 minutes with the staff member working through multiple screens on the computer, disappearing into a back office, returning, shuffling paper then having to go and find the remote card terminal. Ultimately, the guest was given his breakfast pack and told it was part of the tariff.
My check in took less time because I had prepaid but it was still multiple screens, a paper based registration and then I was informed they had run out of breakfast packs and the property didn't provide breakfast and people didn't eat them anyway...........strange.
The motel rooms were quiet only after the large screen TV in the outdoor area was turned off. It blared out from morning until late in the evening. I didn't once see anyone using that space, probably because it was cold and wet!
On a positive note, the room was clean and comfortable even though the bathroom was very small. Parking was convenient and aside from the frustrations of the check-in and the noisy TV the property was value for money.
