We had hot water in the bathroom for only one night of our 5 night stay. We paid quite a lot for the room, especially the weekend rate and expected to have a hot shower. The rude owner took no responsibility and said it was not anything to do with them and not their fault. Sorry but it is your hotel, therefore it is your problem. The wifi is also virtually non existent. We asked for a reduction in the rate, due to not getting what we paid for. That was a flat out refusal. Once they have your money, they don’t care about the problems. We both are from hospitality backgrounds and would never dream of treating paying guests this way. I’m sure this review will have a scathing response from the owner as seen in other reviews. Don’t believe what they say. The rooms, although close to the train station, are very dodgy and it is not safe to go out after dark. Do yourself a favour and pick another place.

Très bien situé à quelques pas de la gare et près du centre historique. Plusieurs restaurants à distance de marche. Nous avions la chambre Coppe, bien aménagée avec une table et des chaises à l'intérieur bonne grandeur. Les hôtes agréables. Petit déjeuner au bistro à côté. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

This was a very convenient jumping off point for us for our one night in Naples. The room was a very quaint old guest house within a larger building. Just a note it's very loud at night being right in the heart of the city but that's to be expected. My only other observation is that the small mini split air conditioner did not keep the room cool but otherwise the room was excellent.

Sehr netter Empfang, alles sehr sauber. Unterkunft ist direkt am Hauptbahnhof, somit konnten alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel direkt genutzt werden. Klimaanlage und auch ein Kühlschrank waren im Zimmer. Lage Top, Service Top 👍

Great place to stay for access to Trains

Great location if you are looking at using Naples as a home base while doing day trips to places like Paestum, Vesuvius and Pompeii. The hotel offers only 4 rooms but is just steps from the train station and great restaurants. Our first night the AC remote did not work and the room was unbearable but that got fixed, bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, the elevator offers 2 free chiropractic treatments per ride, one at the start and one at the end. We would stay here again.

Para ser bem real na avaliação é preciso colocar dois pontos importantes: o b&b por dentro é otimo. Quarto muito bom, banheiro tb. Atendimento dos proprietários excelente. Foram muito atenciosos e gentis. Nota mil para eles. Porem por outro lado a região é estranha e a entrada do predio é bem deteriorada. Na primeira visao do lado de fora nao da uma boa impressao . Mas la dentro é uma graça. Dai, no meu entendimento,valeu o custo beneficio. Está ao lado da estacao central e do metro, tem opcao de restaurantes . Mas para quem é muito exigente, fica o alerta.

Scaramantico Rooms don't look like much, tucked away as they are on a quiet street just off Piazza Garibaldi. However, they are a wonderful oasis in the city bustle and perfect for a traveller who wants to be centrally located in Naples. The rooms are modern, clean, and nicely decorated- they have great touches like the mini-fridge and the lighting with a makeup mirror in the bathrooms (very much appreciated!). And hands down, they had the BEST bed I've stayed in so far in a B&B or hotel in Europe- comfy memory foam mattress and pillows! A dream to fall into after a long day walking the city. The hosts- Antonio and William- are warm, friendly, and very helpful with all my tourist questions. They're great and take advantage of all their local knowledge on where to eat and how to get around. I only booked here for a night, as I was travelling to Telese Terme and I wish I could have stayed longer...Scaramantico was such a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it as a great central stay in Naples- you're right next to Napoli Statzione Centrale- and it will be my stay of choice when next in Naples.

Great stay near station

Highly recommend this place! Reviews were spot on: comfy, quiet, close to a metro station, great service! Antonio was incredible: messaged us the day before and morning of our arrival, tracked our flight, told us when he’d be in the office, and gave us great directions to the hotel. Like our other hotels in Italy, this is a small complex on one floor of a large building. We arrived at Central station via bus and found the place pretty easily thanks to the directions Antonio texted me. He allowed us to check in quite early — around 11 am — which was a Godsend as we’d just arrived on our international flight and benefited from a nap. We loved the room, slept well, and appreciated the breakfast vouchers for a cafe down the street. Some will say the area around the station is sketchy, but we never felt unsafe. There was a constant police presence and TONS of cafes on the main plaza less than a block away. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Comfortable, quiet, and cleean

Stayed for one week and was very happy. Room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Everyone was very nice and helpfull. Breakfast (coffee & pastry) was at a nearby cafe and very tasty. Convenient location for trains and airport bus. I would stay here again.

Very convenient place next to the airport bus stop and metro station. The room is perfect. Comfortable bed, big bathroom. I would highly recommend the restaurant in the same building as well.
