The room itself was a bit small but reasonably clean. However, the bathroom was very small and had visible mold. One major issue was the number of mosquitoes in both the room and the hotel, I’m not sure why, but I had to request mosquito spray every day.
The location was disappointing. The area felt unsafe, people weren’t friendly, and very few spoke English. It’s also quite far from the train station and the city center.
Honestly, if you can, avoid staying in Naples. The city didn’t have much to offer. We only stayed there to try the pizza and visit Capri and Pompeii, but later realized that Sorrento is a much better base for both, closer, safer, and more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying in Sorrento instead.
