Overall a pleasant stay. We stayed the New Year’s Eve, saw a bit of fireworks from the room which was not expected. Location was good. Staff was nice, service was good.

A sparkle in Naples

The receptionist did everything she could to accomodate us and our daughter who is gluten free. The room was beautifully cleaned. I would highly recommend this place and the location.

Ups and downs

+:The residence only has 5-6 rooms and the one we had was clean and nice but not fancy. A very nice little balcony out on to the street and the ocean further away. Very good location in the middle of Napoli. Room was very well cleaned everyday and had an effective air condition. -: I booked through hotels.com and in my booking breakfast buffet was included but when we arrived we found out that they dont even serve breakfast. The hotel blamed hotels.com and maybe they were right, but the hotel didnt do much to help us find out, just "its on hotels.com, you have to take it with them." The receptionist was not rude but didnt speak many words in english so dont expect to get advice or info there. Also seemed that she was only there upon appointed arrivals.

Albergo molto bello in centro a Napoli

Nightmare in Napoli

As soon as I arrived at the place it was informed me that there was a problem with my room and they would have to move me to another place, 15 minutes far from where I booked (I wasn't warned before by the staff about that). And I didn't want the change because I had choosed the placed based on the location, close to Toledo Station, that was the most important thing for me. Since it hadn't any option it was offered me a nice apartment at Cappela Vecchia (a great place but distant from subway stations), in a airbnbn format (an apartment in a building without reception), and they gave me the keys from the apartment and from the building entrance. To resume the nightmare history: I left the apartment at night to have dinner, and when I came back at 12pm, the key wasn't able to open the building's door and my cellphone had run out of battery at that time. So I needed to sleep at the streets (with 7 degrees) waiting till 7am the stores to open and buy a powerbank, turn on the cellphone and ask someone from the staff to help me.They were really lovely to answer and to help me at 7h30am. When they arrived, they realized that really there was a problem with the building's door (the person that came had to ask for help from someone inside the building he knew). There wasn't offered me any compensation even considering that I hadn't neither half of the stay inside the apartment.

3 giorni a Napoli

La colazione prevede caffè, the, sfogliatelle calde, yogurt, speck, sottilette, pane, uova e cereali. Colazione abbastanza essenziale rispetto agli hotel a 4 stelle.

Wonderful hotel, friendly owners

Easily walkable from the train station and to all places in historic Naples and the waterfront. The staff were particularly friendly and wonderful with the elderly man who checked us in being extremely welcoming. They shared all the best spots to visit and gave us a map and were interested in making our stay perfect. They spoke Italian and were proficient in English as well. I would highly recommend this place as it was excellent and affordable for my stay in Napoli.

OK but disappointing

This is not a hotel as I would expect. It was more like a B & B. The room was basic and rather small - pictures are quite deceiving! The view was not of the volcano and/or the bay of Naples as described. There was no 24 hour manned reception. Having said that the lady that looked after the rooms was kind and helpful. This place is OK as somewhere cheap to sleep, but I would not recommend it for families.

Nice clean & fairly modern hotel.

Rooms are a bit small & the shower is tight. Hotel is good but area is not very nice & concierge is daytime only.
