A hidden gem in a great location

We were welcomed to the Alma Suites by Marco and immediately given plenty of information on the local area (Piazza Dei Martiri) and also where to visit in Naples to make the most of our visit. The room itself was very spacious and had all the amenities that you would require from a city stay, including Netflix if you wanted to stay in...and take advantage of the double ended jacuzzi bath! I will also add that at the end of a long day sightseeing, you have the luxury of a tempur mattress waiting for you, in order to recharge and go again the following day. The bathroom was also spacious, with everything you could require too. Overall, the whole room was tastefully decorated & spotlessly clean, so it was certainly a great stay in a fantastic location. Marco was a great host and was available for any queries that we had. I would definitely recommend the Alma Suites to others.

NEVER NEVER live in Alma suites! The host there is a psycho. We booked two nights there but after one night we were kicked out by the host, named Marco! He threw out our luagges out of door! Super rude. The appeal letter sent to Expedia as the following: Hi Expedia, I am writing to formally request a full refund for my recent stay at Alma Suites in Naples, Italy, hosted by Marco. My experience was deeply distressing and went far beyond poor service, resulting in a serious threat to our safety and well-being. Despite booking a two-night stay, we were forcibly removed by the host after only one day. While we were departing for an excursion, the host rudely removed all of our belongings from the room. He cited two reasons for this: 1. ID Submission: The host claimed we did not submit our IDs. However, he was not present outside of his stated working hours (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM) when we arrived, and we were unable to coordinate with his limited schedule as travelers. 2. Guest Count: The host took issue with us having two children with us when the booking defaulted to two adults. The room we selected specifically accommodated four people (one king bed and two bunk beds), and we never intended to withhold information. We explicitly offered to pay a surcharge for the children, but the host refused and instead chose to evict us!
