"This property is directly across from the train station so it’s a great location if you are on the go. It is further away from the main Kyoto strip that we spent most of our time. I wish I had known that before booking but otherwise it was a great stay."

"We stayed in the Kabuki room and it was so worth it! The room is so cool and very clean. Comes with a lot of amenities that they replenish each day! The hotel is within a shopping district which is so nice to walk around at night. Staff was friendly and welcoming!"

"Our stay here exceeded our expectations. Rooms were clean, decent size, but it was the staff and amenities that made this property truely shine. The staff was extremely helpful, we didn’t expect to eat breakfast here but after trying one day, we decided to get breakfast at hotel as much as possible. Having a warm bowl of ramen at end of day was a really nice touch. The onsen was well maintained and amazing after a long day of walking. And the little touch of having free ice cream for after using onsen was especially nice. Has free washers and coin operated dryers which we did utilize. Will definitely book again on our next visit."

Lovely room, great bathtub, lovely welcome area with drinks and snacks and amazing breakfast / I tried all the local dishes including the silky tofu, beef Kobe curry and sticky rice, delicious french toast and wafers with red bean paste and chestnuts and the teriyaki sandwhiches. "My family of 6 stayed here for 5 days, 4 nights. The hotel is in a super convenient location. There is a path that connects the hotel directly to the train station. So clean and spacious. Amazing skin care/face wash/shampoo/conditioners provided. The hotel smells amazing. Rooftop access gives beautiful views of Kyoto. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff were very helpful and helped us ship our luggages from here to the next hotel in Osaka! Cannot praise this hotel enough."

"The breakfast menu was fairly average, all pre-made and not that appetising (in my option). The staff were friendly and helpful enough, but the time to check in was very slow. One of the servers in the bar took our order then preceded to take other orders, and left us for a good 5 minutes sitting at the bar with nothing....so we left. Laundry facilities were good and inexpensive. The room were very very small and we were not able to unback our bags nor even place them where there they weren't in the way. Big negative. The position of the hotel was very good; close to Gion and good restaurants and other shopping. Probably the best aspect of our stay. "
