Koh Tao Heritage

"Was a good hotel, however did have problems with the hotel room. The door didn't close properly all the way and we struggled to lock the door, even the staff did too. We also had small drain bugs in the bathroom and it was a concerning amount, which made it feel dirty. The bed and room were okay, good for only 2 nights."

"This is the most spectacular location I have ever seen. Located on an outcrop, there are opportunities to swim on both sides so that if it’s windy on one side, you can just go to the other side where it’s protected. The snorkelling is second to none. Just tipping your face into the ocean for a moment you see multiple brightly coloured fish and pushing off from there is like an underwater aquarium. We snorkel to the next bay and back with ease. After so much Thailand, tourist intensity this feels like an absolute sanctuary. We took advantage of the things that were offered on site like Mui, Thai classes, and yoga and the gym and enjoyed the breakfast and the resorts restaurant. Ice bath was a treat and the pool is colder than the ocean, which is a rare treat on a hot day. We use the scuba diving refresher course on site, and then went scuba diving the next day. We are staying in a superior room and our balcony overlook the bay that everybody is trying to get to either by boat or by car. It is on our doorstep. The room is great. They bottle their own water, there are solar panels everywhere and they have really made an effort to be environmentally friendly. We like this place so much that we extended our trip by a few days. Yes, this place is a little bit far out of the way, but there’s a shuttle to Surrey Beach multiple times a day. Highly recommended."

"We had a great stay at the Haad Tien, well worth the long journey from the United States. The property is beautiful, the staff were so genuinely kind and attentive, and our villa had an amazing view. We will be back!"
Aiya Resort Koh Tao

"I couldn't suggest a better place to stay in Koh Tao. Our room was clean, spacious, and very well located to the rest of the town. The pool was big, beautiful and photogenic too. The area was a quick 7 minute walk from the main part of town, which was perfect for us as we wanted to avoid too much foot traffic and noise while still being close. The most amazing part of our stay was the staff. We were so well taken care of, and were able to book all of our excursions (hikes, snorkelling, drives/commute) through the front desk. I genuinely think this is the best place to stay in downtown Koh Tao. Will 1000% be coming back!"

"We had a deluxe room villa and it was an absolutely stunning room! The cleanliness was impeccable. All the food staff were very very kind. We stayed here for the convenience of the diving as well and found 1 of the ladies in the dive shop was not very friendly, informative or helpful… we felt like we were a nuisance to her most days. Then another lady showed up later in the weeks and she was absolutely wonderful and was very helpful :) we went diving with Nick, Jordan and Bjorn and they were all wonderful. Nick was very entertaining under water and even when visibility was low, gave us fun things to do :) the past reviews warning about stairs is very much real. It was a great leg workout for us for the week but I would not recommend it for anyone who isn’t fit. Shuttles into town are extremely helpful as taxis are quite expensive… overall this hotel was stunning and adorable <3 "
Ban's Diving Resort

"La première chambre que nous avons eu était infestée de fourmis. On nous a déplacé dans une deuxième chambre. Celle-ci n'avait pas d'insectes mais au bout de 3 jours une forte odeur d'égoût se dégageait de la salle de bains. Nous avons été déçus de notre séjour. Le buffet déjeuner était bien et il y avait beaucoup de choix. Les piscines du complexe sont biens. L'endroit est bien situé. Près du centre mais assez calme le soir pour pouvoir se reposer. L'écolde de plongée est bien. Nous avons fait notre Open water et avons aimé l'expérience."

"Superb villa with a great layput, spacious and well appointed with 3 overhead fans (bedroom, living area and outside seating areas). Staff very helpful, even let us in 2hrs ahead of check in time. Great decks below villas for snorkeling- swam with 2 Black Tip Reef Sharks whilst down... 1 adult about 5ft and one ypungster about 3 ft... amazing"
