MUGUET by Ibiscot
1/5 Terrible
"I booked this property 8 months ago. I chose it because it was one of the only ones that had a swimming pool in the area that I was going to look at.
First thing about getting to this hotel is that you have to go down a very long bumpy dirty unsafe road. Everything is covered in this brown dust which is a combination of feces and soil. It's extremely uncomfortable to drive on.
Once I arrived at the hotel I really wanted to like the place. One of the owners seemed friendly, and the staff also seemed friendly. Over the entire course in my stay the staff was great. They were polite and professional.
The first night I arrived the owner told me they did not accept credit cards. I told him this was extremely inconvenient but if it was just going to be for my food bill it wasn't that big of a deal. 2 days before I was supposed to check out, the other owner tells me that I have to pay for the hotel in cash. And that Expedia takes too long to pay them so she has refused to accept the payment. Over the next 48 hours she continuously pressured me to pay her cash. Additionally, she wanted more money than I had paid for my original Expedia package. When I called customer service I got some sort of chatbot. They refunded me the portion of my package that was associated to the hotel, but the hotel still demanded an additional $50.
Now I had to sacrifice valuable vacation time to ride down that long dirty unsafe road I mentioned, take money out of an ATM machine and be charged a fee. "
