"The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance. I would have thought some level of quality control helped justify hotels.com's commission. Either way, the cottage is managed by the building next door and this is where you need to go to collect the key. "

"Overall excellent stay. The onsen was wonderful, and the amenities, such as free massage chairs, popsicles, and free noodle soup at night, far exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect.
