Unfortunately, my check-in experience was very disappointing.
The woman handling my check-in was not friendly or welcoming, and the process took approximately 1 hour. I had already paid for my stay in full online, yet she asked me to pay again. I then had to spend time explaining and proving that the reservation had already been paid for and that I should not be charged twice. This was particularly frustrating because I expected my payment status to be verified before requesting additional money from me.
Her attitude throughout the check-in process made the situation even more unpleasant. She would turn her back to me and walk very quickly toward the room, giving me the impression that she wanted to finish dealing with me and leave as quickly as possible. The property did not appear busy at the time — as far as I could see, there was only one other guest — so I could not understand the rush.
I also asked for the Wi-Fi password. She wrote it on a piece of paper, handed it to me, and immediately started walking away again. I asked her to confirm that the Wi-Fi was actually working. It was not. She saw that I could not connect, but instead of offering assistance or even explaining the situation, she simply turned around and walked away without saying anything. So during my whole stay I didn't have Internet.
I found the entire interaction rude, dismissive, and disrespectful.
However other staff members were nice to me.
