The Sanco Inn Shinkansenguchi Hotel is our go-to hotel whenever we are in Nagoya. Its proximity to the Meitetsu Nagoya and JR Nagoya Stations is very ideal for us since it is very convenient coming from the Chubu Centrair International Airport and whenever we ride the train. Also, the bus station is almost right in front of the hotel, adjacent to the JR Nagoya train station. Highly recommended!

It is near to JR Nagoya station. Excellent services from the staff. Although the room quite small, it is complete with hotel basic and it's included with robe. Had a pleaseant stay, thank you 😊

Excellent location & High cost performance
Excellent cost performance. The staff was very friendly and helpful (at check-in and -out, storing luggage, etc). The room is well-designed to utilize the space and has great functionality. Location is awesome too.

Pros: - Great location across from the station, however, it is located very near a public smoking area. So, guests have to walk pass by that before entering the hotel. - Good Variety of breakfast menu Cons: - Check out time is a bit too early like 10 am. No matter what time you checked in. (We checked in around 8-9 pm and We were staying at the hotel about 12 hrs. Asked to extend the check out time to 11 am, they wanted to charge JPY1000/extra hour. No flexibility at all. - Room is quite small and hallway looks quite old with unpleasant smell. - AC is centrally controlled and too hot in the room. Guests cannot adjust any temperature. - Most staff cannot speak or understand English that well. So, they need to use translator tool to help.

My check in day was a typhoon day. A lot of travellers arrived at the lobby well before the check in time (3pm). The staff started check in at 2.30pm so everyone could get the room earlier to rest.

Very close to train station with plenty of places to shops and eat. You basically don’t need to travel far to get anything. Staffs are very friendly and polite. Breakfast were good with different varieties daily and best of all is it’s included in the room rate. Will definitely return.

Good Place for short stays and near public transpo
Place is near nagoya station. Just across taikodori exit. Across the street is bic store. Breakfast is ok. Not so many choice but the basics i.e. rice bread yogurt is served. Just outside the hotel is entrance to Esca underground shopping district. Comfort room are too tight.

o close to the shinkansen station
Had trouble with setting the air conditioning. Woke up I'm the morning with what felt like frostbbite in my chest. Probably my fault. But certainly wasn't that cold when I went to sleep. otel incredibly convenient for the station and anyone making full use of Japan Rail Pass.

I liked its location being right next to the Nagoya JR Station. Room amenities were fine. Shopping, restaurants and my attraction were close by so it was easy to walk/run to.

Our room was very clean and tidy. The hotel has a great location right across from the station making it easy to plan your day. The free breakfast was very handy as it also made it easy to head straight out for the next city in the morning.

Convenient business hotel next to the train station, shopping and restaurants. Not a tourist hotel as the rooms were rather small for 2 people. Front desk was able to accommodate us with a little larger room. Wife happy.

The hotel is just about 5 mins walk from JR station. Make sure you have the right exit, towards the Tokaido exit. Room is small just like any 3-star local inns & hotels. You just have to be organised and carry small bags. Breakfast is standard fare but yummy. You get eggs, bread, danish, salad, yogurt & coffee. Great thing about the hotel is that you dont need any toiletries. Everything is provided. The restaurants in JR station are great, Starbucks, Macdonalds are available and abundance of gifts shops and supermarket.

Reasonable price, great location, good breakfast
This was a very reasonably-priced hotel in a great location. We were pretty much across the street from Nagoya station, which made getting around very convenient. Also, I was impressed with the breakfast (which was included in the cost)...the hotel offered a nice selection of food and drinks. Would definitely be willing to stay here again.

Hotel is just across the street from Nagoya station. Very convenient. Breakfast is good. Bic Camera is also across ghe street. Lots of restaurants around it plus convenience stores.

Hotel location was great. Entrance to the station basement level was right outside the front door. Made it very convenient especially when it was raining. Also, the stores next door were very conveniently located. The hotel room condition was out-dated and worn but the convenient location made up for that.
