"Our room was clean and spacious. We got upgraded to a suite when we checked in, which was really a nice surprise. It had a full living room, as well as a nice size bedroom. We will definitely stay there again in the future."

Bundle of hair on the floor in the hallway across from room 335. Hot tub doesn’t work. And all this for 500.-/ night!!!!! Seriously???"

"The room was clean but worn. The elevator and 2nd floor, where we stayed, had a strong, strange smell that I couldn't place. The lady that checked us made us feel unwelcome."

"The breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn fare. Had something from each category of breakfast foods. All well heated, frozen preprepared, such as small tin omelets with a cheese inside, thin bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, and waffles you make from batter."

"Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!"

"Blinds were broken and couldn’t close. Pet friendly place so trim in the room was chopped up. Beds not so comfy. Parking is horrible if restaurant is busy. People going to the restaurant share the parking lot and take up a lot of spots. "
