The pictures did not portray what we walked into. We had to call because we didn’t have a comforter. The rugs were dirty and worn. The patio was barely usable because of leaking water from the air conditioner. The bathroom is so small that you have to have the door closed in order to use it. The stove burner pans were filthy. The hallway had garbage piled up in it when we went to our room. I was heartbroken. We stayed somewhere else for 3 of the 7 nights.

Beds were too soft. The pillows weren't clean, so I bought new ones. Under the bed and nightstand wasn't clean. Opening the door after putting in the key code was difficult. The bedroom could have used a ceiling fan to move the air around. The air conditioner units needed to be cleaned. There was sand in the dresser drawers.

Condo was nice and clean - great amount of room. The sliding glass door would not completely shut or lock - other than that - everything was great!

The property is on the water front alright, but the condo was filthy with very bad air quality. The amount of dust on everything, stove top, coffee machine and the tables show that the place was never cleaned prior to our arrival. The windows and doors nasty looking. We left sick with breathing problems. Moisture trap containers with mold littered all over the place. We were forced to use the same sheets and towels for the entire 3 nights with no where to do laundry. Called the property front desk and they said since we did not rent directly from them, they were not responsible and Elliott Beach Rentals management said the same thing. That since we rented through Orbitz, that is who we have to call for any assistance and they do not have a number for Orbitz. I have photos of the filth you ever need to see them.

Church Business Trip - First time using rental Co.

The condo was OK. Communication was sad by Elliott rental company. Wife was by herself and told nothing about parking or where it was. She was locked out of condo by lobby doors which nobody told her there was a combination code. Only savior was an employee who was working late because computer problems. Email had 2 different locations to check in. Called and was told to go to Cherry Grove location when other location was blocks away from condo. Very stressful stay. Will only use Hotel next time.

EVER AGAIN!

Not only was the check-in process confusing and frustrating, but I couldn't even get into our room!!! There was supposed to be a keyless keypad on the door, but it was replaced with a deadbolt and old school lock box – which we didn’t have a key or a code for. The management company didn't have a key or a lock box code, nor did they have any other available rooms for my family and I, so we were forced to find another place to stay for the weekend. It was 9:30 at night during spring break, so this was less than ideal. NEVER AGAIN!

Myrtle Beach Gymnastics Meet

Hotels misrepresented accommodations; should have been 2 King, 2 Singles & Sofa. it had 1 King, 1 Queen with Bunk beds in same room & 2 singles that looked wedged in a sardine can. Hot water inadequate..daughter's shower fine, son-in-laws cold by the end of his, granddaughter's shower no hot water -- totally unacceptable... no bath mats or hand towels or kitchen towels. it would be nice if potential renters were informed beach towels aren't provided. Weston at Palms Resort was quite helpful in attempting to rectify the situation within his capabilities.
