Maria Katrina hotel was fantastic, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms have probably one of the best views of Mykonos I’ve ever had and the rooms are recently renovated giving it an extra touch of class. The property is located in between the port and Mykonos town (Fabrika) so I would suggest renting a scooter or quad bike if staying here.

Our stay was amazing! The owner was super nice and helpful. The apartment was in an excellent condition and super clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. It’s a fifteen minute walk to the center. You definitely get the most out of your money.

Good view over the Mykonos town, however the property is outdated and needs some maintenance (ie the air-conditioning wasn’t functioning and the kitchen was lacking basic utensils). Communication was really good and our host was very friendly.

Maria is a welcoming host and very responsive. The property is quaint and well-maintained. It is a 5-minute walk to a small super market that is well stocked. The only concern is that there are no paved sidewalks along the main road (there was evidence that the sidewalks are being worked on and built) to get to the market and the main area of Mykonos (Little Venice, shopping district). Taxis are difficult to come by, and it takes an adventurous spirit to walk down a few steep hills and uneven terrain to get to the main district. Still, you can enjoy your visit to Mykonos if you are comfortable experience the authentic nature of island living.

Maria's property is lovely. It is so quiet and peaceful, but close enough to the main town. Maria came to meet us when we arrived and gave recommendations to us. The property had a fridge, sink and stovetop which was really helpful. There is a view of the ocean/sunset from the outdoor seating. The bathroom is modern and clean. Maria also ordered us a taxi to the port and saw us out when we left. I would highly recommend Maria's property for a stay in busy Mykonos!

Loved our stay at Katerina's apartments! Very basic apartment, not anything fancy at all but great for travellers on a budget and had everything we needed. Only note is that we had the most random cooking appliances, like a frying pan but no spatula .etc. - little things like this could be added to make cooking at home easier. It was a good 20-30 minute walk into the Old Town but please be aware that it's VERY steep. We're fit girls in our mid 20's and found the walk home quite hard work in the heat or after a late night. Still do-able, but sweaty! Definitely couldn't wear heels. Taxi's are quite expensive, so we did the walk multiple times a day. At least it made up for all the delicious Greek food we were eating! View from the terrace was stunning and Katerina was so helpful and lovely. Our key broke one night and she popped over in the morning to replace it with no problem. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it as long as you don't mind the walking!
