"The location to the train station could not have been better, it's literally across the street! The staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the checkout time was generous. Beds were comfy but the pillows were lumpy and not very comfortable. The room was extremely hot and I was thankful that the windows worked, since the AC they advertised on Expedia did not work, nor did the phones to call reception about it. I believe there might be local laws preventing it, but I stayed in a much cheaper place the night before and didn't experience a lack of AC. Basically you have to choose between the blackout curtains or being a little more comfortable. The lack of AC was the only real issue. Everything else was nice."
"I would consider this hostel run perfectly as with German Ordnung. There is nothing I could regret on the organizational side. My only two comments would be:
1) It would be better to somehow unite roommates according to their cultural preferences regarding diversity of guests - there could be misunderstandings easily avoidable if they do;
2) I confused the private (to the right) and public (to the left) kitchens in the basement and was reminded of my error by a kitchen employee less than nicely. A bit upsetting even if it was my fault."
"Hotel needs update. Safe in my room was broken. Breakfast is not free and not really great. The staff was friendly and helped us when we asked to store our lugga after check out. It is good for one night though, not for a long stay."
"Great central location but very outdated, needs a lot of TLC to get it up to modern hotel standards. It was a cheap price and convenient so can’t be too fussy"
