「No common areas like traditional hotels, otherwise just like any hotel (you just have to ring the bell at front door to get in). Clean room, silent air conditioning in the room, friendly staff and a good breakfast. I would come again! 「The Hotel Doria is on a quiet back lane near the Ferrari metro and an area filled with shops, cafes and well regarded restaurants. The room was modern, nicely appointed and comfortable with a nice rooftop dining area for breakfast. Staff were most helpful. The Via Garibaldi, San Lorenzo and the waterfront were a short walk from the hotel, as well as the open air book market and the galleria. Absolutely the best pesto at E. Price Rose and we thank hotel staff for their recommendation. 」

「I was unsure walking up to the building about how "hotel-like" it would be but the building is so charming and the hotel staff was very responsive via WhatsApp. We enjoyed that there was a contintental breakfast every morning and felt like we were in a hotel but then had some of the experience of being a local when you walked out the door. 」

「Very helpful when we arrived (too early for check-in)--they let us store our bags there while we went out and about and gave us a map that they marked up to show where we were and where we said we wanted to go. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast had plenty of variety. Will stay there next time I'm in Genova. 」
