The staff at Zorba restaurant led by Michael are outstanding. The staff at the front desk require further training. There is no clear management structure. The rooms, furniture and design are excellent. The location is perfect close to the airport and indirect communication with a beautiful beach.

Grosszügiges Ferienresort an einem schönen Strand!

Das The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort ist ein ganz neues, grosszügiges Ferienresort an einem schönen Strand. Grosszügige Zimmer und sehr schöner Pool. Es gibt viele Restaurants, es fehlt aber ein Gourmet-Restaurant ohne lästige, laute Musik einer In-Location.

Top Hotel

Top Hotel, grosse wunderschöne Zimmer. Das Personal ist grösstenteils sehr freundlich und hilfsbereich. Die im Hotelkomplex integrierten diversen Restaurants (italienisch, chinesisch, griechisch, südamerikanisch u.a.) sind preislich extrem teuer. Es lohnt sich definitiv ausserhalb zu essen, zB im Huqqa, ca 3 km entfernt oder diverse andere. Leider hat es in Gehdistanz zum Hotel keine anderen Restaurants. Persönlich störend habe ich empfunden, dass tlw. bis spät nachts in den Zimmern mit Meersicht über dem Pool, die Musik und die lauten Gespräche von Gästen sehr gut hörbar war, speziell am Freitagabend.

Overall the stay was pleasent and the food was lovely. We had issues with maids coming into the room while do not disturb was on and not knocking or ringing the doorbell before entering. This happened on 4 occasions. One where they had entered and left a broken lamp from another room. The hotel need to work on this.
