This hotel,about 20 mins drive, offers a free pick up and drop off it is a reliable and excellent service. The rooms are suites large and a comfortable bed.Good wi fi. Breakfast is large,just $6.Staff are very helpful and hospitable. Highly recommend this hotel for a transit stop or a few days.

Gastvrij hotel met top service en fijne faciliteit

We kwamen midden in de nacht aan en werden vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. We voelden ons meteen welkom. We hadden een hele mooie en ruime kamer. Alles was schoon, mooi en comfortabel. We hadden geen ontbijt geboekt omdat we na een lange vlucht wilden slapen. Toen we wakker werden hebben ze speciaal voor ons lekker eten klaargemaakt waar we van genoten. We verbleven 1 nacht en dit was het startpunt van onze rondreis. We hadden graag langer gebleven. Mooi hotel om ook langer te verblijven. Uitstekende service.

This was one of the best experiences i ever had with a hotel! It was amazing and the hotel staff was very welcoming and concerned about each and everything. The room were clean and beautiful and the best part of the whole time spent with this hotel was that they provide shuttle service for pick up and drop from airport and their driver Mr. Abbas is a really great and concerned and welcoming guy who picks and drops the passengers on time without any problem and also takes care of their needs till the passengers reach their final destination.

The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant was extremely friendly and professional. The hotel offers free pick up from the airport. I enjoyed my stay, and the food was great. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fresh Hotel

This hotel is modern (except for the old school room key), fresh, clean, and has nice ambience. I loved the weight room. The hotel is a little bit of a chore to get to, but Google maps gets you there. The staff is friendly and professional. For a dadt, good, inexpensive meal visit Mr. Dwich. This hotel is a good value.

Perfect for layover

The hotel is perfect for layover. Buffet breakfast available for 2 OMR. Transportation to and from airport is provided for free. The only down side is we don't see our driver waiting us once arrive, spend 30 minute searching and calling and asking for help, at the end he shows up.

Overnight stay at the Remas

Stayed overnight during a long connection and was given a huge suite that included a separate living room 2 w/c and a full kitchen. Room was great but sparsely furnished and the sofa is very hard. Washrooms are small but functional. Bed was extremely comfortable. We were disappointed with the breakfast (poor selection) and the outdoor pool (few chairs or umbrellas). The staff was extremely friendly, as was the driver back and forth to the airport, Mr. Abbas. The Remas is a nice 3* that could be a 4* if a bit more attention was paid to pampering guests

Gentilissimi, spazioso, pulitissimo, ottima colazione. Siamo stati tre giorni per breve vacanza, famiglia con 1 bambini di 9 anni. Vicino all'aeroporto. Ci hanno indicato due guide locali omanite per due gite in e fuori Muscat che si sono rivelate essere ottime persone. Una sorpresa. Bellissimo.

Problem not fixed immediately.

We booked a room specifically with living room area. When we arrived we got a regular room without kitchen and living room. They told us we didn't book a suite but a single room. I showed them which room I booked and the problem was that on hotels.com they got the room details wrong. I booked a single executive room and in the description it states 'with living room area'. In this hotel the single rooms don't have a living room area. So instead of admitting the mistake an taking care of it, they told us we could get an upgrade if we payed 40eu extra. Essentially saying it was hotels.com that made the mistake and we had to take it up with them. I eventually paid the extra 40eu cause we had no place to go and we were very tired. I felt bad about it and the next day I explained the problem with the manager. After some debate and realizing this was their fault we got our money back. I was happy, but they should have fixed the problem immediately, instead of me having first to push. I have to say, the staff was very friendly all the way through, so that's why I don't write off this hotel. I recommend them for their high level of hospitality. Also the room was very neat. Downside was the hard and uncomfortable couch and the lack of sunlight in the room. Also at the time we stayed there were building sites around the hotel, so there wasn't much except for one supermarket in the neighborhood.

Good for a night or two in Muscat...

The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the airport, in an area with nothing in the immediate area. Therefore, if you're staying here for more than a night, you should either have your own car or be willing to pay a lot in taxi fare. But it is great if you're in Muscat for a long layover. The service was very good--everyone was very helpful and friendly which is not always easy to find in Oman. The room was very comfortable and clean. Room service was prompt but my meal wasn't great. Breakfast buffet was pretty good, but no real coffee, just Nescafe. The airport shuttle was prompt and comfortable. I would stay here again if passing through Muscat.
