"Our family had a wonderful experience at the Lakeside Country Cottage - it's private and very comfortable, on a beautiful small lake. Our son enjoyed fishing right off the dock and caught two largemouth bass - he was very excited! We also loved taking the canoe out and just hanging out by the water. "This was our first visit to Elijay and overall my family and I enjoyed our stay especially the balcony view. However there are two situations that were not so good for us. Although we paid our pet fee $75 please be aware that if you take your pet make sure he is not a barker because the neighbors around the property were exaggerated and inconvenienced by a few barking episodes from our pet.
