When we arrived there was no staff and we were provided with a lockbox and a phone number to text if there were any issues. There was a smell of gas and an alarm going off. I texted the number and never heard back until the morning. They wound up refunding my stay.

Peasant stay
Really nice, good sized room with modern finishes, and a huge bathroom. The only negative was the pillows were too soft. I am a firm pillow sleeper and brought mine from home in case I needed it. The Inn is in a great location, too, near Pictured Rocks and Marquette, so plenty to do in the area.

This hotel is on the south shore of Lake Superior, right next to Pictured Rocks Nation Lakeshore, a national park. The staff are outstanding, the room beautiful and roomy, and Lake Superior is right across the highway, albeit on the other side of the highway. Rooms are very clean, upscale, and new. I have stayed in many, many hotels. This is one of my favorites. Remote but beautiful. I highly recommend Roam Inn for anyone considering having a look at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the natioanl park just east of this hotel.

Was excellent but too many texts & emails welcoming or preparing for departure. A 7 am text on Sunday morning was a too-early alarm clock. Food was really good; service even better, but plan on a slower dining experience. Very clean.

Clean and nice for an older property. The town doesn’t have much in terms of dining, but overall it was a decent stay. The accommodations were nice, quiet, and clean. Pillows were hard but that was the only complaint with the room!

The Roam Inn is a little gem. Overlooking the Munising Bay, the Roam offers offers quaint rooms with high quality bedding, a very good onsite restaurant and bar, and is very convenient to all the attractions of the area.

Great property with 5-star service! Spent three nights and enjoyed one dinner at Tracey's which was excellent. Room #7 was very comfortable, although minor view of lake was obscured by main section of hotel and utilities. The included breakfast was somewhat limited in selection but of high quality. Would absolutely stay here again when in Munising!

Really cute boutique hotel! Suite style with separate sitting area from bedroom. Woodsy theme, in keeper with general promotion of all the fabulous outdoor activities in the Munising area. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent customer service. Great location. And five star restaurant in same building that was superb (Traceys).

A bit pricey but this was high summer season. Service was OK. Staff could be a bit more responsive to issues (key card, dead batteries in remote). Initially they shrugged off but then took care of things. Food in restaurant very good.

Roam Inn is absolutely wonderful. The facility has views of the bay, beautiful rooms, and the staff is outstanding. The restaurant here was incredible too! I will certainly highly recommend it to friends and family!
