A true native experience...

If you like to go native this is it...Seriously you get what you pay for. Its totally basic and local. Meaning you are going to be living like a local Indian would. If you want American standards this is probably not for you. However the service is GREAT, the wifi was GREAT and its about 10 minutes from the airport. The A/C TV and room was O.K. bathroom was a little dicey, but workable. Bed linen not the best but again workable. You might at first , especially at night..get scared driving into the neighborhood but its safe and fine. Went with a girlfriend and she went out by herself and never felt unsafe. Its just a local low income community rich with authentic indian experience. Or just looking for a cheap place. Hey you even get a nice basic Breakfast. All in All I had a good experience for $20. And would do it again.

IT WAS VERY BAD EXPERIENCE THEY ARE CHEATER I BOOKED THIS HOTEL 2 DAYS PRIOR AND GOT CONFIRMATION BUT AFTER SHOWING THE RECEIPT THEY DENIED TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION AND SAID THERE IS NO ANY ROOM AVAILABLE. I PAID EXTRA MONEY THEN THEY PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION, I WAS TRAVELLING WITH MY WIFE IT WAS VERY HORRIBLE SITUATION. AFTER PAYING EXTRA MONEY THEY PROVIDED A VERY SMALL ROOM , COCKROACH WERE ROAMING ON BED

Good enough for India

Glad to settle down in something comfortable after running around India roughing it at Ashrams and what not. Just remember, if you are a spoiled American or European stepping off the plane in India, you are not going to get excited when you first get here. It's f#$%ing India for god sakes, pull up your panties, this place is fine. Also, internet blows here like WiFi does almost everywhere in India but there is an internet cafe 1 km east.

Best part of the hotel is it's proximity to the airport. Another thing we liked about the hotel was it's staff - very cooperative. However, there is significant scope to improve the quality and furnishings of the rooms.

False advertising and pictures

The price was advertised as 50% off at rs 1600 when we booked the hotel. While 1600 was probably ok for this hotel since few AC hotels can be found below this rate in Mumbai, it would be a very silly person who would have paid 3200 for the Cosmo. The pictures are enhanced to look better than the rooms are. Yellow walls probably look good in photos, but not so nice in reality. No Egyptian Cotton bedsheets were anywhere in evidence despite website claims of such. Also they have probably taken pictures of the biggest rooms in their hotel. The room we were in had just enough space for the bed and a tiny nightstand. The last issue is with the location. This hotel seems to be in the poorest part of Andheri. Pros- Breakfast included and served in room with tea Relatively fast internet Chilled AC with remote Staff is friendly and seem to understand hotel's shortcomings Laundry is inexpensive at rs 50 for two pieces of clothes Cons- Location is almost within a slum. You have to cross the slum to get in/out get an auto. Rooms are tinier than you would expect from pictures Water in the bathrooms seems to run on no pressure, everything drips rather than comes out of taps False advertising got to me too. I don't like being told that Egyptian Cotton sheets are waiting for me to find out that tiny bedsheets which slide out of the bed as soon as you sleep on them are actually present. Otherwise the hotel was clean and well kept on the inside

Really too bad room

I ll never recommend to any one to stay in cosmo. It will be better to stay at footpath rather than cosmo. At net it is written as 2 * but it not deserver any star. Normal hotel will be better than cosmo

hotel location is very very BAD

hotel is far away from local train stn. and located under fly over and hard to locate , as i have booked this hotel in advance but to my surprise hotel had given me room in basement ( they have 7 to 8 rooms in basement) all with very very small washroom and very little vantilation. Hotel and your web site claims that they provide breakfast , but they give only one item out of 3 in menu of EGGS / POHA / bread with JAM. they say pick any one item with TEA or COFFEE, and if u dare to ask for bread slices with butter they will loudly say IT WILL BE CHARGEBLE. dining area is in basement and right next to staff toilet and u get to see most of the cleaning staff serving as waiter and they clean toilet and serve food also. I was shifted to ground floor after lot of request on next day of my stay , i have complained to manager and to the owner of hotel about breakfast but they were non responsive . this hotel has around 15 to 17 rooms but they get only 1 english news paper even on 100% booking. near by locality is also very poor and after 10.00 pm auto wala wants to drop u off. because of the area hitel is located. pls do not go by the photos on web site # very bad hotel #. I WANT TO KNOW FROM U THAT WHY I HAVE BEEN CHARGE EXTRA MONEY.

Budget Hotel

Though hotel rooms are clean and comfort to stay, surrounding neighbourhood are not good. Price compare to its location and services are little higher. Breakfast is complementary but not that great. They could have offered better breakfast. AC, TVs, etc are in good conditions. If I have to stay again at Mumbai, I will search other options too.

Good hotel with bad breakfast.

Though the room was clean and good, the disappointing factors for me were the location and complimentary breakfast. The menu and the quantity are limited.Only Bread with Butter,Bread with Jam,Bread with Omlete,Poha and Upma were on the menu. I had ordered 2 Bread with Jam, 1 Bread with Butter and 1 Bread with Omlete. I got Bread with Jam instead of Bread with Butter and the omlet was partially fried. When I escalated, I was request ed to manage with that. You may not find good hotels nearby as the location is not posh/rich. Please make your own arrangements for breakfast. Otherwise the hotel is good

Je n'en pas puisque je n'ai passé qu'une nuit.

Bien quand on connait l'Inde! les chambres sont propres, le personnel est sympa juste un petit hic le petit déjeuner.Plutôt que d'avoir un déjeuner continental on nous a servi une omellette avec 1 toast+1 café.Mais bon nous ne sommes pas morts!!! Pour 1 nuit c,est acceptable mais je ne passerai pas mes vacances ä Mumbai dans cet hôtel.

I stayed based on review. managed by a family. They are good and extend full support. Only the location and neighborhood is ? Since it is Mumbai and for cost it is OK. No restaurant but have service kitchen. They serve breakfast. OK for money. Airport drop at cost . Suitable for a short stay. I may stay again.

Hotellet lever ikke op til noget af det der står i beskrivelsen, bl.a. står der at samtlige værelser har byudsigt, hvilket ikke var nemt at se fra det kælderværelse uden vinduer, hvor vi blev placeret i (vi havde endda bestilt et Deluxe værelse) Morgenmaden bestod af 3 ikke ristede toastbrød, en omelet og en kop te serveret på værelset, hvor faciliteterne bestemt ikke var til spisning. Hyggepejsen, kaffe/te maskine og skrivebord var ikke at finde på værelset. I de såkaldte lydisoleret værelser kunne man høre alt hvad der foregik i kælderetagen og luftventilatoren på badeværelset trak mados fra køkkenet ind på værelset. Alt i alt var det enenste positive ved hotellet, dets placering i forhold til lufthavnen, vores råd, find et andet hotel.

small room but ok for one night

The room is very small and have no windows. The hotel looks ok inside even in a very ugly street (looks like a slum). Close to international airport. If you need a cheap hotel, this one is ok. Good shower, A/C, Cable TV. Staff is very kind and helped me a lot.
