The Ameswell was very modern and nice. Staff was very helpful and nice. Very close to the Shoreline Amphitheatre and a lot of places to eat near by. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Don't have to stay at resort to enjoy the events at the Convention Center. Does not provide extra bed, but rather an air mattress that deflates through the night. Overpriced and does not include microwave. Photo of pool looks larger than actual pool area. The plus is that the food in the hotel restaurants are delicious.
