Very good hotel, with parking, just a few minutes walk from the Pompeii archaeological site. Good restaurants and coffee shop very nearby. Also very close to the central square in Pompei town itself.

Great location. Near restaurants and shops short walk to the pompeii ruins. And across the road you can book tours we did The vesuvius one much cheaper to Book there than here.breakfast is good cakes, toast, eggs cereal and yoghurt.

In definite need of refurbishing. Bathroom had old shower head and casing and door was missing! Security not good as reception not fully manned from 9pm. Only access was by dark car park with open staircase which led directly to all rooms!! However, staff very friendly and helpful as far as they were able.

Convenient hotel in Rome.

Hard to review after plush hotel in Dubai! We stayed in this hotel about 9 years ago and returned. It does the job for the price, even if showing a bit of wear. Receptionist was nice, helpful. Great location for eating and trains. I reckon I’d come back again.

Fantastic location for visiting Pompei Ruins! Room and bathroom were very spacious. AC was quiet and super effective. Even though hotel advertises sound proofing, there was a LOT of noise: from the street, from neighbouring rooms and from the breakfast room.

The location is great! Within walking distance to the Pompeii Archaeological Park and many restaurants and shopping. Parking was good and free which was great! Our hotel room was okay. There was a bug on my daughter’s comforter and the bedding was a bit dirty. We only had one night booked so we just dealt with it. Breakfast was disgusting and crowded. You definitely get what you pay for!

Definitely, I recommend this hotel to my friends!

I stayed 4 times in this hotel within a year. The most valuable thing to stay in St Caterina Hotel is its parking -- big and always available. Another advantage is the easy-to-find hotel and get to highways. Also, it's centrally located, which is perfect for tourist purposes as well as for just an overnight stop on your way. Sometimes I got outdated rooms, sometimes it was good ones, but cleanliness and helpful staff are always their priority. Breakfast was sometimes poor, sometimes generous, I think it depends more on the staff who was on duty that day than the Hotel features itself.

Pompeii 2024

The hotel was excellently located being as central as it was. 100 metres from the entrance to the Archiological Site of Pompeii and likewise from anything resembling either a restaurant or bar. Breakfast was simple and with little variety apart from the pastries. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were air conditioned which was a nice bonus. Any negatives are outweighed by the positives. As we had hired a car, the addition of a car park for the hotel was well received as parking in Pompeii is not easy.
