"I’m not really sure there were any amenities. We had to ask for sufficient toilet paper. Housekeeping had made the Kleenex box look nice, but there were no Kleenex in the box.. We set our dirty towels outside the door, which made the entire hallway look like a laundry basket. There were obvious water damage stains on the ceiling. "When we booked we were just looking for a little room for the night- but the property was a gem in the center of Mount Vernon. The staff was so helpful when we arrived and the breakfast was perfection (we didn’t know it came with breakfast! What a treat). We feel so lucky to have found the Mount Vernon Inn for our brief visit to Kenyon College."
