「Basecamp lodge is a beautiful property slightly away from the main Mount Shasta town. The property is clean and you get "the freshest water in the USA" in the tap. The beds are big (we had a king bed) and very comfortable. You have beautiful Mount Shasta views from the property and it's close to all the hikes, waterfalls and lakes you want to visit.」

「I was completely SHOCKED at the state of the rooms. There was hair in the sheets, the fridge did not work so all of the snack foods we brought ended up spoiling. At one point my aunt thought I had my glasses on the floor…. They were in fact someone else’s- meaning I can assume the room had not been properly cleaned. We did not want to risk not receiving any money back so we made due. Get in late, get out early! I definitely would not stay here again! However the front desk lady was AMAZING!」
