"Staff are very friendly and hotel is well maintained to a good standard. The bed can be quite hard if you’re not someone who prefers that style. The public bath is a lovely touch but can get crowded at busy times. A lounge on the top floor has views over the city and countryside beyond. A very good hotel in this area."

"Wonderful place to stay in Naoshima. Convenient location near the port and perched on a hill with lovely views of the water. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially loved watching the sunset from the little bar. Staff were so friendly and helpful."

"This is my second stay and I had a wonderful time. The rooms are very comfortable and very spacious. I enjoyed the balcony in the evenings. Access to the local onsen was really wonderful.
