"Great little place, a bit of a walk from the main hub of Wanaka, but felt quiet and peaceful. The place was spacious and clean, with great scenery around. Had a nice little patio and green space. Kitchen was adequate and had enough to cook simple meals. We had a great stay!"

"Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point."

"We were there before the pre-ski season rush and it is clear that the new management wants to impress. The kitchen and accommodations were clean and inviting and the kitchen was well equipped and well organized (including labeled fridge and pantry locations for each room). I appreciated that they had a dishwasher which saved time in the kitchen and made me feel the dishes were actually clean unlike some other shared kitchens I’ve used. Great location as well- walking distance to the lake front and also right on the way to the ski area/hiking trails."

"The property is brand new and well maintained, with a little of smell of fresh house. The view is truly impressive— we were even able to see a rainbow from the window, which was a lovely surprise. However, the Wi-Fi connection was quite slow during our stay, which may be inconvenient for guests who need stable internet access. In addition, I would strongly recommend booking dinner in advance or bringing sufficient food supplies. When we arrived at 1:30, the restaurant was already fully booked, and we were only able to have some snacks instead of a proper meal. Unfortunately, the children had to wait until the next morning to have a full breakfast. Overall, it is a beautiful place with great scenery, but guests should plan ahead regarding meals and internet needs. "
