"Within easy walking distance of town. Beds were comfortable and heaters in the house worked well but the bathroom was not heated and was very cold. Nov 13, 2019Staying in the village was definitely the way to go when visiting Mt Cook. The alternative was to stay in Twizel, which is 60kms away. We were here the only day it was clear sunny skies, the only day in over two weeks.
