The hotel was a short drive to Moshi, while being far enough away from hustle and bustle. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating- even going so far as to check I was well when I slept in after a long hike at Kilimanjaro. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Literal perfect stay. Location is gorgegous and everyone from Peter at the front desk to the lovely women working the bar and kitchen are beautiful hosts. Staying here made the entire experience in Moshi that more impressive. Highly recommend.

Best stay in Africa!

The rooms have European standards, and the hotel is small and intimate. A real gem! Highly recommended! Good security, on site parking for free. The rooms are spacious and clean, but of course; this is Tanzania, so hot water and wifi might not be top notch at all times, so don't rely on the wifi for work for example. Benson at the reception was very helpful, and works as a concierge if you need to. Don't think twice - book this one, I'll book it for my next trip to Moshi for sure!

Beautiful property, new clean rooms, great food

Shose Chalets is even prettier in person. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Communication with management before and throughout my stay was smooth and timely. The food here is so good! The staff is really friendly and are eager to accommodate any needs. I was happy they were able to do laundry for me. The rooms are updated, clean, and pretty. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff we're super friendly and the room and landscaping were beautiful. We had breakfast at our bungalow every morning and ate dinner at the hotel most evenings. They were helpful arranging our activities. It was a bit far from Moshi center but there were tuk tuks and taxis available to get into town. I definitely would recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Shose Farmhouse. We received a warm welcome at the reception with warm towels, tea and was introduced to the staff. The grounds were lush and filled with fruit trees and flowering plants. Our rooms had a great view and were well appointed. The restaurant on premises provided a memorable experience and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and catered to our every need. We were given a tour of the farmhouse and saw their livestock, vegetable gardens and fresh water pond. I give this venue a thumbs up!!! Doreen & John Bellomo

Property was new … Their guide was excellent .. Barak… he is an all rounder person , want to hike in Kilimanjaro , in by cycling, town, Falls .. he is great …and Safe !!

The rooms are updated and really nice. They’re cottage like and the greenery around is so beautiful. I loved the swing out front, and the porch. So peaceful to sit out there at night. The staff was super sweet and helpful. Peter the manager was on top of everything and I felt very safe here. Want to come back and bring the whole family! Hopefully soon. Thank you!

Beautiful views of Kilimanjaro

Overall, a nice stay. Beautiful views of Kilimanjaro from rooms. They made an effort to ensure our honeymoon was celebrated. Beds were very uncomfortable though (much too hard). This has been referenced by others. Dinner and breakfast was OK - choice and quality was limited due to everything being taken from the farm. We were shown around the farm and my wife was quite distressed to see the condition of some of the livestock. We mentioned to staff member showing us around and she was quite dismissive saying she was sure someone would have a look at it, but we were not convinced.

This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend Shose if you are in the Moshi area. Starting with the warm welcome from Benson at the front desk to the wonderful service and great recommendations for dinner from our waiter Ismail, we were very pleased with choosing Shose Farmhouse! We were 2 couples and all agreed that the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious and the bed super comfortable! Also enjoyed a hot soak in the outdoor tub on the balcony overlooking green fields and Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance! A special thank you to Benson who arranged for my iphone left mistakenly in the taxi arranged by the hotel, to be returned to me!
