"Loved our stay at the Exeter Hotel in Reykjavik, comfortable bed, great breakfast, fabulous shower, good location. The staff were helpful when we asked to store luggage in a friends room until ours was available, plus they have a secure area to store luggage if you arrive early in the day as we did. I would definitely stay there again."

There is no daily turn-down service, and housekeeping won’t make the beds or provide fresh towels unless you specifically request it. We had to call or flag staff each time, which was disappointing at this price point and brand level. Overall, it’s a nice stay if you’re okay being proactive about basics, but it falls short of the seamless luxury experience the name suggests."
