Room was lovely and reception staff very helpful. There is a lot of noise with the trucks going past every night so definitely would ask for a quieter room next time. We didn’t have a great experience with the restaurant. Had dinner the first night and wouldn’t recommend that again as the service wasn’t great and they were dismissive, food all came out at once so they kept our mains warm until we were ready which didn’t work well with steak. The pool could also be a bit warmer. The location is amazing and so nice to be close to everything amd breakfast was great.

Fantastic hotel - so convenient for everything! The staff cannot do enough for you, they are all fabulous. The only downside was that the pool wasn’t warm and the heating system in the room didn’t work well. Made it harder to dry slightly damp ski gear! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Tres bel hôtel à la fois chaleureux et contemporain. Idéalement situé au cœur de la station, belle architecture moderne, sauna et piscine avec vue sur les montagnes très appréciables. Chambre spacieuse, sdb spacieuse équipée d’une douche et d’une baignoire. Machine à capsule en chambre et deux bouteille d’eau locale. Très grand lit avec vue sur la montagne par grande baie vitrée, outre un petit balcon et une vitre type hublot. Très calme en cette mi-juillet (17-18). Petit déjeuner varié et de qualité. Multipass pour les activités à Avoriaz au prix de 3€/24h, au lieu de 15€

Mil8 was faultless for our 40th birthday trip with friends for my wife’s birthday. Avoriaz is a picture postcode town and Mil8 hotel is in the heart of it. A perfect location for a ski in, ski out trip. All staff were fantastic and could not have been more welcoming and made our trip special and seamless at every step. Breakfast was great, the infinity pool quite small but had the most amazing view and the sauna provided another fantastic vista. A relaxed vibe served up a brilliant long weekend. Would thoroughly recommend and will be visiting again.

Illusions perdues

Notre séjour devait se passer du 15 au 19 mars, le 14 au soir l'hôtel nous a demandé confirmation de l' heure d'arrivée que nous avons confirmé, puis nous a informé que l'hôtel fermait et qu'il ne pouvait nous recevoir. Nous avons demandé pourquoi notre CB a été débitée par l'hôtel Mil8 avant notre séjour alors que nous avions demandé à régler sur place et il nous a été répondu de nous adresser à Expédia avec lequel nous n'avons aucun rapport. Je constate que pour hôtels.com nous y avons séjourné alors que ce n'est pas le cas et que mes mails de réclamations n'ont trouvés aucun échos.

Excellent week-end à deux

Magnifique hôtel tout neuf, déco et confort dignes d'un 4 étoiles, très bien situé, vue imprenable sur les montagnes, personnel sympathique et serviable, seul bémol le niveau de formation des employés est un peu en-deçà de ce qu'on peut attendre d'un établissement de ce prix mais cela n'a eu aucune conséquence sur notre séjour. Le restaurant est très bon et la cuisine inventive.

A nice hotel central to Avoriaz. We were one of the 1st guests to stay there. The staff were helpful. Breakfast choices were limited. It was a good 4 star boutique type hotel.

Poor experience ; great site

The site is great; however we learned on arrival that the hotel has just opened !! - elementary missings in the room ; trash cans, hangers etc. - the door could not be locked ; had to use managers master key card for all the stay. Service was poor ; - on Christmas Eve diner service was terrible; some tables like ours did not get courses as the others without care or explanations; poor employee training. - making of the room did not included replenishing of toilet and tissue paper and other amenities
