We were one of the first customers on their opening weekend. We booked through hotels.com and there was no information provided regarding the special check-in instructions. There is no front desk and normally you are sent a key code/app that lets you into the building and your room. When we arrived there was a ring camera and someone instructed us to wait and we would be let into the building, only about a 10-15 min wait for them to arrive so not bad. The building, grounds, and room were beautiful. They were definitely working out the kinks since it was there opening, tv did not have sound, and hot water only lasted for 2 minutes in the shower. I attempted the first shower, then my spouse attempted about 30 minutes later and had same experience. We called about the tv to see if they had a quick fix, however they would have had to drive back over and we were already unpacked and in our robes for bed, The shower was the next morning and we were already on our way out. There was a manager who greeted us when we were leaving and they asked how the stay was. We explained our experience and they also said they were working out the kinks, although no offer to comp part of the stay, or discount a future stay. Our room had a patio with fire pit which was lovely. The building is well done and you don’t hear other guests in their rooms.
