Property is not so bad apartment areas that are dirty, like the common areas. Staff are rude and have zero respect for guess. They are not properly trained. Management doesn’t see anything wrong with the staff. And that is the problem, I complained two things to the manager and his response was try and be positive…really.

I have never experienced the lowest service in my history of traveling around Tanzania. Breakfast was terrible, cold food, you ask the staff they have no answer and can’t even try to explain why they are serving cold food. With all the fresh produce around, the hotel has failed to prepare a nice meal. Worse experience ever. Internet is terrible, no and off and when you call reception they will tell you it’s beyond our control, it’s the service provider. The day i checkout, it took them 15mins to because they only have one card machine for payment and it wasn’t charged. I complained to the manager and his response was why you so negative, try and be positive because things don’t always work. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who appreciate service because they will not get it here.

Ruhig, am Stadtrand gelegen mit schönem Garten. Zimmer einfach, aber mit allem was man braucht. Klimaanlage funktioniert. Restaurant mit indischer Küche. Frühstück landestypisch einfach. Personal zurückhaltend freundlich. Leider schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Gast. Anfragen vorab zwecks Abholung werden nicht beantwortet. Insgesamt trotzdem empfehlenswert.

The hotel is set in a beautiful green compound with great views of the Uluguru Mountains. It's quiet and peaceful and the staff aim to please. However, the property is quite dated, and could use a facelift.

Nice place to stay in Morogoro in a great location

Clean and reasonably modern hotel. Pool area is a good place for families and couples. Rooms are spacious and in interesting oval buildings. In a nice area of Morogoro called Forest Hill which is just 5 minutes from town. Lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby e.g. Black and White, Motown, Rock Garden.

The management is not providing training, nor caring for their staff and the property. The hotel didn't have enough cutlery; in the dining area the table covers were dirty, it appeared they used the same table covers before washing during breakfast the next day. The breakfast was pathetic with minimal options. The rooms had dusty floors, the duvet on the bed didn't have a cover on it and the sheets had spots of brown stains and dust. The rooms are far off from their photo representation, they were actually filthy. My experience at Morogoro Hotel was terrible, I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone. If we hadn't arrived so late into the night we would have searched for a different hotel to stay for the night. Expedia should not be taking advance payments for hotels and stay locations they have not vetted. Taking advance booking with no refunds is a ploy for properties like these.
