"Great location near the train station and good restaurants, hot breakfast, public bath and pajamas to wear around the hotel. The Route Inn was everything we needed for our visit to Morioka."

"We only stayed one night in Morioka but would have happily remained a little longer at this hotel. The room and bed were comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant.
The breakfast buffet was by far the highlight, with a wonderful variety of hot and cold options, and plenty of vegetarian dishes for my husband. I wanted to try I've of everything but just couldn't fit it all in!
It was also an easy walk from the JR station (12-15 minutes)."

"Excellent check-in process. Even though there were automated machine machines to use because there were people working there, they took care of my check-in quickly and efficiently very good."

"The facility and the room were clean and well functioned. The staffs were quite tentative and easily communicated in foreign languages. We stayed there for two nights during Christmas. We were blessed to stay in such hospitality and friendly hotel. It suits everyone in various travel purposes. "
"Clean and spacious room, big toilet with bath tub or floor shower. Efficient toilet and air con controls. Well placed wardroom and big comfortable beds."
"A little confusing in that the hotel is named 'Kita Hotel' on Expedia but at the hotel it is named the 'Hotel Du Nord' - Google Maps though has both names.
The public areas look a little dated but the room l had was very comfortable (best sleep l've had in a long time) and spotlessly clean.
Hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from Morioka station so long as you are travelling with minimal luggage. "
