He either hates Americans or women or people .. we just thought it was a bad day we all have them but next day still nasty mean and unhelpful !!.. Very quiet with privacy while walking the grounds Pool looks beautiful , did not use it… the hotel has an interesting rule about wearing swimming caps and it was not heated We were ok without the pool because there were plenty of beaches under a 10 minute drive that were beautiful with warm water "

"Palazzo Daniele is an extraordinary place! Old restored palace filled with art and design, super friendly and helpful staff. You encounter beauty at every corner of this place. I have just left and dream to come back there soon. We stayed at the black suite which was super spacious and had an entire roofdeck to our disposal. I was extremely charmed with the palazzo and our suite. It was one of the most magical places I have stayed at in my life. Location is perfect for discovering Salento. The downside are extra services: breakfast for 40Euro is too expensive... food is super delicious but too pricey. The same with cocktails. I was happy to hear about morning gentle yoga sessions but afterwards it appeared that they are not complimentary, instead cost 50Euro. Wifi is too weak. "

"Loved the entire property. Nice rooms, pool, parking, and breakfast. There were 2 large groups staying there so they needed to figure out the dining a bit better. A group of 100 and another 35 were there so they set up for dinner for them and forgot about the other 10-12 guests but eventually ( once said we needed a place too) set up some tables outside for us."
